Ogun Speaker, Oluomo advices Doctors, Nurses on Friendly-approach

The Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon (Prince) Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo has appealed to the management of the General Hospital, Ifo to be more humanely while attending to patients.
Rt Hon Oluomo made the plea while hosting the management staff of the forty year old Hospital in the Assembly complex, Abeokuta.
The Speaker noted that patients needed a more friendly approach whenever they were being attended to.
He pointed out that Doctors and Nurses as Care givers were expected to be mild in attending to patients.
Prince Oluomo advised the management of the Hospital to be proactive in the face of challenges bedeviling the health centre promising to render Legislative supports towards ensuring quality health sector across the state.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Olufemi Soetan highlighted some of the challenges facing the Health facility which included Short-staffing in all departments, Increase in volume of Patients, Unavailability of Ambulance as well as lack of enough wards in the Hospital.
The CMD who appreciated the Speaker for standing by the center during trying times, sought for further Support in order to make the Health facility perform optimally.#
