Ogun: Odeda LG Begins Distribution Of Second Phase Relief Package

The Odeda Local Government area of Ogun State under the leadership of Alhaji Semiu Bola Lawal on Saturday began the distribution of second phase relief materials to the vulnerable and aged residents of the state.


When our correspondent went around to monitor the situation it was gathered that the transition committee chairman , Alhaji Semiu Bola Lawal and his team visited on house hold and other to distribute food items to the vulnerable and aged people within the local government.

This was part of efforts of the committee members to ensure evenly distribution of food relief package to those who didn’t get during the first batch.

Recall that the state government decided to release second batch food items stimulus package to cover the areas where have not been touched

The transition chairman while speaking to the newsmen after the distribution, he commended the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the second phase idea, saying that it has them a lot to touch areas where they have not been able to during the first one.

He said that they have tried to identify the number of polling units in different wards as to help them in the distribution process.

Lawal therefore urged the residents of the local government who are yet to get their own package to exercise patience, saying they will get theirs anytime soon.

He enjoined the residents of the state to continue to support the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun , saying that the efforts of Abiodun so far during the lockdown can not be undermined.
