OGHA Election: I am unperturbed by election inconclusiveness – Ogun Assembly Speaker

The Speaker, Ogun state House of Assembly, Rt Hon (Prince) Olakunle Oluomo says the results of his polling unit was not cancelled as rumored in some sections of the media.
It would be recalled that INEC announced cancellation of the results in unit 04 of Ifo ward 01 because of Over-voting.
A statement released by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, AbdulGhaffar Adeleye today in Abeokuta, pointed out that “the Speaker votes at unit 19, ward three, while the election was cancelled at unit four, ward one. The unit is one of the three units at the voting centre of the Ogun State Chairman of the people’s democratic party, PDP, Hon Sikirulai Ogundele.
The statement reads further ” The speaker recorded massive votes from his constituents and is already leading with a total of 968 votes across the Constituency”
“Mr Speaker is comfortably leading and is not in anyway perturbed by the inconclusiveness of the election”
“He played his usual role in church yesterday and is in office this morning” it concluded
Rt Hon Oluomo urged his followers and well-wishers to be calm and continue to be prayerful for it is a temporary setback to the eventual victory.
