Odogbolu LG Chairman, Diya Praises Governor Abiodun for Approving Key Road Projects
ODOGBOLU, OGUN STATE – The Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Babatunde Oyetola Diya, has publicly expressed his deep gratitude to Ogun State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for the recent approval of three crucial road projects within Odogbolu Local Government.
The approval, which was officially announced during a recent Ogun State Executive Council meeting, underscores Governor Abiodun’s ongoing dedication to fulfilling his promise of consistent infrastructural development across the state.
The newly sanctioned roads in Odogbolu Local Government include the 3.2km Erinlu – Imosan Road, the 2.9km Federal College Road, and the 2.0km Imodi-Imosan Road.
These strategic road corridors are deemed vital for the socio-economic advancement of the communities, promising improved access for residents, enhanced agricultural connectivity, and a boost to local commerce and inter-town movement.
Hon. Diya commended Governor Abiodun’s infrastructural vision and inclusive leadership, characterizing the approval as “a testament to a responsive and people-centered government.” He emphasised that these approvals align perfectly with the aspirations of the people of Odogbolu Local Government for better roads, enhanced security, and sustainable development.
In his remarks, Diya stated, “Our dear Governor continues to distinguish himself as a builder of modern Ogun State. These road projects are not just about construction—they are about connection, progress, and prosperity. On behalf of the good people of Odogbolu Local Government, I say a big thank you to our dynamic Governor for his unwavering support and commitment to grassroots development.”
The Chairman further highlighted that the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun has consistently prioritised the well-being of citizens through extensive infrastructure development, social investments, and strategic partnerships.
Hon. Diya reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to close collaboration with the state government, ensuring that all projects within Odogbolu Local Government are executed to the highest standards and in line with the Governor’s vision for a more prosperous Ogun State.
