Exclusive: “I Am Not Part of Any Coalition” – Fayemi

In an exclusive revelation, former Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has categorically denied being part of any coalition aimed at opposing President Bola Tinubu. Speaking through a top APC chieftain who requested anonymity, Fayemi dismissed the claims as baseless and politically motivated, reaffirming his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its leadership.

According to the APC insider, “It is unfortunate that some disgruntled politicians are dragging Dr Fayemi’s name into their schemes just to lend credibility to their cause. The Fayemi I know, and as of today, he was never part of any such coalition. He won’t join them.”

In a candid response, Fayemi himself was quoted as saying, “Na so dem dey launch coalition? I’m tired of issuing disclaimers on every rubbish news. I’m opposed to what the President did in Rivers, but I don’t have to be in a coalition to express that.” He further added.

When told that apology was given on his absence at the press conference addressed by the purported coalition, Fayemi responded thus: “For my absence where? Leave these newshounds who just write fiction.”
