Residents of Itori, Iyana Iyesi, Onigbedu junction and its environs would soon heave a sigh of relief as Ewekoro local government area of Ogun state headed by Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa has revealed that palliative work has commenced on the bad portions of the Lagos Abeokuta express way saying that this would be completed soon.
According to a statement made available to our correspondent
“On the instructions of the Executive Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government Area, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, engineers were on Lagos/Abeokuta Express Way begin palliative works on Itori, Iyana Onigbedu Junction in Ewekoro Local Government Area.
“The development is coming regardless of the ownership of the road either the Federal government or State government. The deplorable and unusable condition of the road, which has for some time plagued the axis, residents and road users into serious hazard, has he makes it extremely important to immediately put in place palliative measures.
“These palliative road works, which will run concurrently with what is going on Iyana Onigbedu Junction, are simply to bring succour and make the road usable pending completion of its reconstruction by Dangote Cement Factory and Ewekoro Local Government Engineers.
