Community Leader, Chief Olakunle Olalekan Congratulates Elegbeji on Bye-Election Victory

ABEOKUTA — The Lisa of Orile-Oko community in Remo North Local Government, High Chief Olakunle Olalekan, has congratulated Princess Adesola Elegbeji on her victory as the Honourable Member representing the Remo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

In a statement personally signed and released to newsmen on Sunday in Abeokuta, High Chief Olalekan maintained that Elegbeji’s emergence is a clear testament to the people’s confidence in her capacity, competence, and unwavering commitment to quality representation and service to humanity.

He described her victory as well-deserved and attributed it to the “overwhelming support of the people and her commitment to serve them.”

The community leader also applauded Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun for his “leadership sagacity” in ensuring the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious.

“Congratulations to Princess Elegbeji on her victory in Saturday’s poll. Her landslide win is a testimony that she enjoys the goodwill of the people. On behalf of the good people of the Orile-Oko community, I wish her a very successful tenure in office. We are confident that your tenure will usher in greater development, progress, and prosperity for your constituency and beyond,” he said.

He added, “I must also commend the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his leadership sagacity and for leading us to victory. No doubt that the policy of the governor is yielding positive results.”

While urging Elegbeji to justify the people’s confidence by delivering dividends of democracy, the community leader assured her of the full support of the people of the Orile-Oko community.
