ASELGON BOARD: EKWEREMADU BECOMES CHAIRMAN

The Association of EX-Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria (ASELGON) has constituted Board of Patrons and Patronesses in order to strengthen the association.

According to the National President of the Association, Hon Albert Asipa named the Chairman of the Board, the Former Deputy Senate President and former President of ECOWAS Parliament, Senator Ike Ekweremadu.

The Board will serve as a navigator and will also responsible for the Foundation that will take care of our members in time of needs.

The President said that the members of the board are former elected Chairman of good character and well known in the society.

The Association which is umbrella body of all former elected Chairmen across 774 Local Government Areas will be inaugurated the Board early next year.
Other members are, Hon, Abdel-Majid Adesegun Adekoya, Deputy Minority Whip, House of Representatives ( Deputy Chairman), His Excellency, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, Nigeria Ambassador to UK, Former Governor, Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Alao Akala, Hon. Abdulganiyu Saka Cook Olododo, Chairman, House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development, Senator Adamu Talba, Senator Ahmad Barata, Hon Wali Shettima, Hon Jeff Ogbu, Hon Adam Kayeri, Hon Enekwachi Akpa.

Others are His Excellency, Ambassador Fidel Ayogu, His Excellency, Ambassador Gordi Agbo, Hon Murtala Galadima Garo, Hon Yinusa Afolabi, Hon Garuba Kehinde, Hon Freddy Ichegbo and Hon Baba Hama.
They are to bring their wealth of knowledge to bear.
