ABK South: Shomide Assures PCRC Of His Support To Ensure Crime Free In the LG

The transition committee chairman, Hon Ayodeji Shomide has assured the police Community Relations Committee, PCRC, Ogun state chapter of his administration’s support to prioritize the security of lives of the people.

Shomide gave the assurance On Tuesday during a first maiden meeting held at his office, Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun state

He maintained that the local government will not relent in the area of security, saying that it has become a national issue which cannot be taken with levity.

He said, ”I want to assure that this local government will not cover up any forms of menace and crime that may surface within the council area.

”We are assuring you of our unflinching support in curbing crimes in the state’. He concluded

Meanwhile, the chairman, PCRC, Hon. Yomi Wyte who led the committee to the council secretariat explained that the purpose of meeting the council is to dialogue on how atrocities, social vices can be curbed.

He however assured the local government that the committee will cooperate with the government to make the council area a crime free zone
