Abiodun Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir, Urges Peace, Sacrifice

ABEOKUTA – Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated Muslim faithful in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, calling on them to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, love, and peaceful coexistence as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.

In his Sallah message, the governor described Eid-el-Kabir as a significant spiritual occasion that teaches humanity the importance of faith, selflessness, tolerance, and total submission to the will of Allah.

He urged residents of Ogun State to continue to live in peace and harmony regardless of religious or ethnic differences, stressing that unity and mutual understanding are critical to the continued progress and development of the state and the nation at large.

Governor Abiodun also appealed to Nigerians to support the initiatives and reforms of the Federal Government, expressing confidence that ongoing policies would ultimately steer the country out of its current economic challenges and set it on a path of prosperity, growth, and stability.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving citizens’ welfare through sustained investments in infrastructure, security, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic development under the Building Our Future Together agenda.

The governor thanked the people of Ogun State for their support, prayers, and cooperation, urging them to maintain their belief in the government’s vision for a more prosperous and inclusive state.

He prayed that the blessings of Eid-el-Kabir would bring peace, joy, divine favour, and renewed hope to every family and the nation as a whole, wishing all Muslim faithful a peaceful and memorable celebration.
