The leadership of the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle/Tricycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Ogun State chapter has commiserated with the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, over the demise of his father, Dr. Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun.
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by the state PRO of the Association, Aremo Agunbiade.
The Association expressed shock at the passing of Dr. Abiodun, an Educationist, who worked as a school teacher for many years accross the old Western States, at the early hours of Monday at age 89.
The Association described the death of Dr Abiodun as painful, beseeched God to grant his soul eternal rest and prayed that God comforted those left behind
“We are saddened over the death of Dr Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun, the Father of the Ogun State Governor who slept in the Lord today.
“The passing of our parents can be painful indeed. No matter how old they may be, we never want them to leave.
“He was an excellent human being, a deeply religious man who provided knowledge and exemplary leadership to many people
“His passing is no doubt a huge loss to Ogun State and indeed Nigeria,” the statement reads.
