The defectors were led by Akeem Amosun, former PDP’s House of Representatives Aspirant for Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, in the last PDP Primaries elections.

The mass defection is coming ahead of this week’s governorship and house of Assembly elections in the state.

The former House of Representatives candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) in 2019, Abeokuta South federal constituency, Akeem Amosun, and his teeming supporters also unanimously endorsed governor Abiodun for second term in office
