OGSG Commissions Landmark Projects in Ijebu North East

In a significant move underscoring its commitment to grassroots development, the Ogun State Government has commissioned a series of landmark projects in the Ijebu North East Local Government Area.

The newly commissioned projects include a Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) in Odomolasa, another PHC in Imomo, motorized boreholes in Isoyin and Atan, and the renovated Local Government Finance Department building at the Council Secretariat in Atan.

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat, stated that the projects reflect his administration’s determination to deliver the dividends of democracy to the grassroots.

“The Council Chairman has done creditably well with the resources at his disposal to complete these projects. He has shown commitment to the ‘Building Our Future Together’ agenda. I can see that the people are happy. You have done very well, keep it up,” he remarked.

In his address, the Chairman of Ijebu North East Local Government, Hon. Folusho Badejo, expressed his appreciation to the Governor for his unwavering support towards Local Government Administration.

“The Governor has charged us to be his grassroots soldiers and to bring state-level development to our local communities. I’m proud to say that our administration has embarked on over 22 projects across the council area. Our goal is to ensure that our people truly enjoy the dividends of democracy through the provision of essential infrastructure,” Hon. Badejo said.

The Chairman pledged that his administration would continue to do more in improving the standard of living of residents in theto improveis remarks, the Elese of Ilese, Oba Oluremi Obayomi, commended Governor Abiodun for his remarkable strides in infrastructure development across the State and for strengthening Local Government Administration.
