Obafemi Owode LG Chairman, Ogunsola Charges New Appointees on Loyalty and Responsiveness

The Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, has officially sworn in the newly appointed Senior Political Assistants and Political Assistants to the Governor. The ceremony was held at the council secretariat in Owode-Egba.
The appointees, sixty in total and drawn from the twelve political wards of the local government, were appointed by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON.
During the ceremony, the Council boss charged the appointees to be responsive to directives and to maintain outright loyalty to the Governor. He stated that their appointment is a reflection of the trust reposed in them by the people, the administration, and supporters of the party’s ideologies.
He urged them to let humility, integrity, and diligence guide their actions, emphasising that the moment is not about titles and positions but about commitment. He charged each of the appointees to work collectively to support the good policies of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, and to serve the people of Ogun State with honour.
Ogunsola disclosed that their appointment was in recognition of their track records and enjoined them to build on that to achieve more success in the current political atmosphere.
Similarly, the Council boss encouraged all other ruling party members to remain resolute in supporting the party’s policies, assuring them that their efforts will not go unnoticed.
He thanked the leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Obafemi Owode Local Government for their guidance, commitment, cooperation, and for joining in affirming the new team, stating that building the future together is a collective responsibility.
Party leaders present at the swearing-in included Hon. Soneye Damilola Kayode, Ogun State House of Assembly Member representing Obafemi Owode state constituency; Hon. Sobukonla Abiodun, Vice Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government; Chief Idowu Olude, APC Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government; and Hon. Derinsola Dopemu, Governor Liaison Officer; among others.
