Ipokia Council Chairman Signs Bye-Law for Upward Review of Rates and Levies

The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh AKA Cornerstone, has assented to a bill for a BYE-LAW to provide for the upward review of rates and LEVIES on the Internally Generated Revenue Fund in Ipokia Local Government and for other matters connected therewith.

The bill for a bye-law was passed by the Legislative Council of the Local Government and was assented to by the Council Boss on 7th May, 2025.

With this development, Rates, Levies and Tariffs of the Revenue Items/Trade in the Local Government Area have been reviewed upward.

This will automatically boost the Local Government IGR financial base.
