Governor Dapo Abiodun Congratulates Anambra’s Soludo on Re-election Victory

OGUN STATE – Ogun State Governor and Chairman of the Southern Governors Forum, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has extended his congratulations to Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his successful re-election as the Governor of Anambra State.
Governor Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), was declared the winner of the November 8th governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after securing a decisive victory across the state’s 21 local government areas.
Official results from INEC confirmed that Soludo polled 422,664 votes, defeating his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 99,445 votes. Other parties, including the ADC and PDP, trailed significantly.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Governor Abiodun described the election outcome as a clear testament to the people’s confidence in Soludo’s leadership.
“With the results of Saturday’s election, the people of Anambra State spoke in clear, unmistakable terms, affirming their belief in the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo,” Abiodun stated.
He charged his colleague to view the victory as a mandate for greater service, urging him to unite all political interests in the state for accelerated development.
“I heartily congratulate my brother and Vice Chairman of the Southern Governors Forum, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, and urge him to continue inspiring the people of Anambra State with life-changing policies and projects,” Governor Abiodun said.
The Ogun State governor also commended Soludo for his consistent cooperation with the administration of President Bola Tinubu and encouraged him to “keep the flag of democracy and good governance flying.”
