Gov. Abiodun Charges New Local Government Chairmen to Deliver on Promises
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has charged the newly elected local government chairmen to prioritize the welfare of the people and deliver on their campaign promises.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony held at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun emphasized the importance of good governance and accountability. He urged the chairmen to be responsive to the needs of their constituents and to work tirelessly to improve their communities.
The governor also stressed the need for transparency and integrity in the management of public funds. He warned the chairmen against corruption and abuse of office, assuring them that his administration would not tolerate any form of misconduct.
Governor Abiodun expressed confidence in the ability of the newly elected chairmen to deliver on their mandate. He urged them to seek guidance and support from the state government whenever necessary.
The newly sworn-in chairmen were charged to hit the ground running and commence work immediately.
