Buhari’s administration has increased hunger, violence – APM
The Allied People’s Movement on Wednesday said President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration had increased hunger, violence, oppression and national misfortune. It added that Buhari had been rejected by Nigerians.
The APM National Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, also accused Buhari of being a self-centred, uncaring, divisive and incompetent leader.
He spoke while receiving leaders of coalition of youth groups from Kano, Ogun, Katsina and Kaduna states, who were at the APM National Secretariat to register their defection from the All Progressives Congress to the APM.
He said, “Nigerians have reached a consensus to rally against Buhari. President Buhari, whose administration represents hunger, starvation, violence, oppression and general national misfortune, APM embodies a hope of national rebirth; it embodies democracy, unity and constitutional order; it embodies wealth creation, youth empowerment and the aspiration for a prosperous nation, where all are free.
“Nigerians know that unlike President Buhari who cannot point to any contribution to our national economy, has not been able to successfully manage any enterprise and has no future blueprint for our nation, APM is a world class entrepreneur. That is why Nigerians are eager to go to the polls.”
The coordinator of the coalition, Ayo Adebambo, said Buhari’s election in 2015 was “a huge mistake for which the nation had already paid dearly.” He added that there was no way the nation could survive if Buhari was allowed to lead for another four years.
