Breaking: Many Feared Dead As NAF Fighter Jet ‘Mistakenly’ Bombs Katsina Village

Nigerian Air Force fighter jet targeting terrorists has mistakenly bombed Kunkuna village in the Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing a yet-to-be ascertained number of villagers.

Report has it that the pilots of the military jet “accidentally” hit the wrong coordinates while targeting a camp belonging to bandits in the area.

“A military jet earlier today dropped airstrikes on Kunkuna Village in Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State. We cannot confirm the number of casualties now,” a source said.

Edward Gabkwet, Air Force spokesman did not respond to inquiries as at press time.

On Tuesday, terrorists attacked an advance team in the convoy of President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina.

Villagers in the past have reported some civilian casualties in aerial bombardments in Northeastern Nigeria.
