The Immediate past Ogun state Chief of Staff to the governor Dapo Abiodun, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, has been declared winner of the Ogun Central Senatorial District primary election held on Saturday.
Shuaib Afolabi Salisu polled a total of 301 votes to defeat other aspirants.
The primary election took place on Saturday at Centenary Hall Ake Abeokuta, amid tight security provided by the police and other agencies.
The primary election was also conducted under the watch of the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission. (INEC).
Other aspirants, including Commissioner for Co-operative and Community Development, Hon. Ganiyu Hamzat Pulled 64 votes, Senator Olugbenga Obadara pulled 2 votes,
