APC Sango Ward Unanimously Endorses PBAT, YAYI, and AKINOSI
The All Progressives Congress (APC) of Sango Ward, led by its Chairman, Idris Abiodu, made history yesterday by unanimously endorsing the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Hon. Tunji Akinosi for a second term in office, as well as Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) as the Ogun State gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 general election.
The decision was reached during a special meeting held at the party secretariat in Sango Ward.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman stated that the party in Sango Ward had taken a bold and decisive step to throw its full weight behind the endorsed candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
He reiterated that the candidates have been tested, proven, and trusted, with commendable and outstanding performances.
In a goodwill message, one of the ward leaders and a member of the Ogun State Parks and Garages Board, Hon. Abayomi Ogidan, described the endorsement as a timely and appropriate decision. He added that the ward is politically grounded and ready to mobilise support and engage voters ahead of the 2027 elections.
In his closing remarks, the party’s Local Government Vice Chairman and member of the Ogun State Alternative Medicine Board, Alhaji Babatunde Abioye, urged party faithful to remain united and committed to the party’s decision, and to work collectively towards ensuring victory in the forthcoming general elections.
