2027: AMORAN Boss Sokoya, Remo APC Stakeholders Adopt Funmi Efuwape for House of Reps, Pledge Total Mobilisation

SAGAMU — The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Remo Federal Constituency took a major step towards the 2027 general election on Monday, as leaders and stakeholders unanimously adopted Hon. Funmi Efuwape as the party’s consensus candidate for the House of Representatives.

The endorsement came during a well-attended meeting of the Federal Constituency Caucus, which drew party chieftains, grassroots mobilisers, and prominent interest groups. At the heart of the gathering was Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, the Ogun State Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (AMORAN), who formally joined the stakeholders to ratify Efuwape’s candidacy.

Party insiders said the unanimous adoption reflects a deliberate strategy to field a credible, experienced, and people-oriented candidate capable of sustaining the APC’s winning streak in the constituency.

Addressing the caucus as a key stakeholder, Otunba Sokoya declared that the entire AMORAN structure across Ogun State is fully mobilised and 100 per cent prepared for the 2027 electoral battle. He pledged the association’s unalloyed support for Governor Dapo Abiodun’s leadership and vowed to deliver a resounding victory for the APC.

“We are fully ready. Our structures are in place, and we are leaving no stone unturned to deliver the entire Remo Federal Constituency for the APC and for our leader, Prince Dapo Abiodun,” Sokoya said.

The adoption of Hon. Funmi Efuwape is the latest in a series of strategic realignments by the APC in Ogun State as the party accelerates its consolidation drive ahead of the next general election. Party faithfuls described the move as a clear signal that Remo APC is united, energised, and already counting down to 2027 with confidence.
