Olumide Osoba Kicks Off Community Food Support Initiative, Distributes 1000 Bags Of Rice Across Federal Constituency

Honorable Olumide Osoba, representing Abeokuta North, Obafemi-Owode,Odeda Federal constituency, has kicked off a comprehensive food support program aimed at alleviating food insecurity and economic hardship in his constituency. The initiative, dubbed “Community Food Support,” has seen the distribution of 1,000 bags of rice to vulnerable households across 38 wards.

The distribution exercise, which commenced on Saturday, has been widely praised by residents and community leaders. Ward chairmen across the constituency have commended Osoba for his generosity and commitment to the welfare of his constituents.

According to Osoba, the initiative is a testament to his dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most. He assured that the Federal Government and National Assembly members would continue to initiate interventions to ensure no family in Nigeria goes hungry.

Beneficiaries of the program have expressed gratitude, noting that the support has brought relief to their families. The initiative is expected to continue in the coming weeks, with more distributions planned across the constituency.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Aisha Olumoroti from Obafemi-Owode local government, expressed gratitude, saying the support has brought relief to her family.

Another beneficiary, Mr Olurotimi from Abeokuta North local government noted that the food items came at a crucial time when families were struggling to feed. He thanked the Representative federal government, and all involved in this noble gesture.

The Community Food Support initiative is a federal government projects expected to continue in the coming weeks, with more distributions planned across the constituency.
