Ogun LG Election: Aremo Oyenuga promises better life for residents of Odogbolu
A chairmanship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, APC in Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State, Aremo Olanrewaju Olabode Oyenuga has promised better life for sons and daughters of the local government.
Aremo Oyenuga who is the founder of De’Albert Farms & Food limited and Auto Chamber Limited assured that he would live up to his expectations and fulfil all his campaign promises when elected as the council chairman.
He made the statement today in a media chat with journalists in Abeokuta.
He also promised to change the face of the local government if elected by embarking on massive infrastructural development; road construction and drainage systems, as well as youths and women empowerment programmes, which he said would reduce unemployment rate and insecurity.
The chairmanship aspirant stated further that his aim is to serve his people wholeheartedly with an open door policy and good feedback process which would make the people have a sense of belonging.
Aremo Oyenuga commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his giant strides in Ogun State. He said, “Our hardworking Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has done wonderfully well and he’s still doing more. His achievements since assuming office over 5 years ago has superseded that of his predecessors”.
“If I’m elected, I will complement the giant strides of Governor Dapo Abiodun and also be accountable to my people.”
The chairmanship aspirant hails from Ọkun Owa where his late father, Prince Bode Oliwo Oyenuga, the founder of Boliwo Farms and Olatoye Furniture was prominent. He started and completed his primary and secondary school education in Ogun State. Thereafter, he travelled to the United States of America and enrolled at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University where he bagged a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
He secured a job as a Management Program Analyst working as a civil servant with the US government for many years, during which time he received his MBA in International Business from Florida International University Miami Florida.
Aręmo Olanrewaju Oyenuga relocated back to Nigeria in 2020 and continues his car importation business. He is also a farmer and a rancher, all situated in Ogun East Senatorial District.
He’s a member of Ijebu regberegbe, Ęgbę Ọbayori Ọkunrin Akilę Ijębu where he held the title of Aręmo.
