Ogun 2019: Labour Party denies rumour of pact with Ibikunle Amosun

The Ogun Executive Council of Labour Party has denied having any agreement or discussions with the embattled Governor of the State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

Labour PartyComrade Oginni Olaposi, spokesperson for the party in a statement after an emergency meeting of the party in Abeokuta described the purported defection of Governor Amosun and Hon. Akinlade to Labour Party as a ruse.

Comrade Oginni in the statement also warned Senator Amosun to beware of fraudsters whose stock in trade is to use Labour Party’s name to swindle unsuspecting members of the public.

Comrade Oginni stressed further that the authentic members of Ogun Labour Party are not unaware of an ‘impostor’ he called Arabambi Abayomi Oluwafemi who, according to him, he has been dragged to the Federal High Court ,Abeokuta with his other highjackers, Hon. Sina Aroyeun and Hon. Ladi Adebutu

The statement signed by Comrade Oginni also emphasized the determination of Labour Party members home and abroad to ensure that the party is rescued from scavengers and political merchants through the rule of law and possible adjudication to Supreme Court.
