OGUN 2019 – Confusion in Amosun’s Camp, demands Tolu Odebiyi’s resignation

There seems to be palpable fear and worry in the camp of Ogun State governor ,Senator Ibikunle Amosun, as the governor reportedly asked his Chief of Staff, Tolu Odebiyi to resign within 24 hours.

According to our source ”Tolu just told Amosun he would not leave APC or pick the Senate ticket of Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), as requested by Amosun and the governor, in frustration asked Tolu to resign his present appointment latest by tomorrow”.

Newsacross.com however, could not ascertain whether chief of staff, Tolu Odebiyi has joined the APC governorship candidate, Prince Abiodun’s structure , but a source close to Abidoun said it was the oil mogul that got the Ogun West Senate ticket for Tolu Odebiyi, and Ogun East Senate ticket for Senator Lekan Mustapha contrary to many of who credited the feat to Amosun.

Ironically, Amosun who asked Tolu to drop his ticket was not ready to drop his own senatorial ticket for Ogun Central under the pretext that he “wants to campaign with Buhari”

It was further gathered that a number of others members Amosun camp were currently regrouping against him and secretly reaching out to Prince Dapo Abiodun. Many of the Amosun “loyalists” were said to be merely deceiving him in order to secure their salaries and entitlements: “he (Amosun) has only six months to go, so we have to manage him till he leaves”, a commissioner from Ogun Central said.
