Odogbolu LG Chair, Hon. Diya, Hosts Prince Oluwasegun Adegunwa in Courtesy Visit, Discusses Grassroots Development
Odogbolu– The Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Babatunde Oyetola Diya, today received Prince Oluwasegun Adegunwa of Ososa, a prominent aspirant in the recent All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship primaries, in a courtesy visit at the Council Secretariat.
The meeting focused on fostering political synergy, community development, urban planning, and improved sanitation initiatives across local communities. Prince Adegunwa praised Hon. Diya’s inclusive and responsive leadership style, emphasising the importance of collaboration for sustainable progress.
During the discussions, both leaders reviewed ongoing community efforts, particularly the Asejere Fish Farming Project, which Prince Adegunwa described as a vital intervention for local economic growth. He urged for stronger government-community partnerships to enhance agricultural and developmental initiatives.
Prince Adegunwa also formally invited Hon. Diya to the final burial ceremony of his late mother, scheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Ososa. He expressed gratitude for the Chairman’s consistent support and solidarity during such significant family moments.
In his response, Hon. Diya commended Prince Adegunwa for his commitment to community progress and reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to inclusive governance and collaborative development for the benefit of Odogbolu residents.
