Odeda LG Chairman, Folasade Adeyemo, Sinks Borehole For Tejoun Community, Alabata ward

As part of effort toward improving the living condition of the people, the Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government Area, Folasade Adeyemo, has sunk borehole for Tejoum community, Alabata, Ward 6 area of the Council, on Friday.

The project, according to the Council Chairman, is in fulfillment of the promise made to the people, and an effort being made at solving the problems of water challenges in the area.

Speaking with Newsacross.com on the development, Adeyemo maintained that the plight of the people of the community was becoming unbearable in terms of getting water to use in their different households, hence the need to embark on such intervention.

She said “The village has been without drinkable water from time immemorial, and as part of her commitment towards delivering good governance to the people of Odeda Local government.

She assured that he will continue to execute people-oriented projects aimed at positively impacting on the lives of the people of his Council area to complement the efforts of the state government.

The village Head also expressed appreciation; in his remark, he said, “I am happy to see this long-time dream coming to pass in my lifetime, and seeing this project coming to fruition is one moment, I will never forget” He appreciated the Chairman, Hon. Folasade Adeyemo for putting an end to the village’s long-time suffering from lack of drinkable water, He also prayed for the chairman asking God to grant her the grace to end well and the villagers promised their unwavering support for the chairman in her present and future political aspirations.
