Ahead of the Local Government Elections in Ogun State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State has inaugurated Central Campaign Commitees and commenced Campaign Tour with visits to Odeda ward one, in Odeda Local Government area.
The Inauguration which started around 11 am was greeted by a pool of party Faithfuls and Supporters who thronged in their numbers to welcome the chairmanship Candidate, Party Leaders and members of the committees.
In his Inaugural speech, The Director General of the Campaign Committee and currently Chairman, Transition Committee of Odeda Local government, *Hon. Semiu Bola LAWAL* commended members of the APC for their commitment to the vision of the party and for voting for the APC in last gubernatorial elections; he urged them to campaign vigorously for the party to ensure victory for all APC candidates in the council Elections.
He Promised that his Commitees members will take the Campaigns to every nook and crannies of the Local Government.
While performing the flag presentation to the Party’s Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates, the Chairman of the party at , Hon. Musulumi Saka commended the Party Faithfuls for their commitment to entrench APC at the grassroot level and ensure the party’s growth for the good of the people.
Saka, who was visibly elated, thanked the Party Stakeholders for ensuring a smooth and peaceful conduct of the Wards and Local Government Primaries, which produced all the candidates.
In her acceptance speech, the chairmanship Candidate of the party, Alhaja Folasade Adeyemo-Soyinka thanked the governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and other leaders for wonderful opportunity extended to her and her councilorship candidates. She promised to uphold the principle of inclusiveness, Justice, fairness and equity in governance.
She assured people of Odeda that her mantra, “GBAYI” will be practicable to ensure everyone benefits one thing or the other in governance and the party.

The local government election is scheduled to hold on July 24 across the 20 LG in Ogun State.
