LG Boss intervene on Motorcycle Riders Protest in Ijebu-Ode.
Motorcycle Riders in Ijebu-Ode has made their Provocation on Increase Price of Okada riders Yearly Sticker Ticket known through a Peaceful Protest in Ijebu-Ode.
The Protest took place at the Local Government Secretariat in itoro today.
The Motorcycle riders who made their Grievance known to the Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local, Engr olugbenga Olugbile, said the Increase Price of their Yearly Riders sticker ticket and Compulsory of collecting the sticker from the Two Association Recognized which is ACOMORAN and AMORAN are what Led to the Peaceful Protest saying they see Local Government as the first point of contact to Intervene.
One Mr Afolabi Kehinde, who is a rider said As a Motorcycle rider they are only entitled to take one sticker from Any choice of the Recognized Association rather than forcing them to take both Association.
Also speaking, Mr Lawal Sikiru said the issue of The daily ticket should be look into, Especially the one of the Park and Garages ticket.
While responding to their request, The Council Boss said they should make their Protest Minimal so as not to disturb the business of the Day saying He is ready to take their Matters to the Appropriate Quarters to Solve the issue.
Olugbile then Implore the Okada riders to go on there Usual Business and Promised to summoned the Appropriate Association of the Okada Riders to Look into the Matter.
The Chairman then called on all the Association that was involved ranging from ACOMORAN, AMORAN, ROMO and Security Agency on the Issue of the sticker and Put a call through to the Chairman Committee on Transport, Barrister Adeniyi who said all related Issue on Yearly Sticker for Motorcycle are Suspended for Now.
