Parading the Suspects before Journalists in Ado-Ekiti, Police Public Relations Officer in the state, (PPRO) ASP Sunday Abutu told newsmen that the suspects were arrested by a team of rapid response squad of the command who have embarked on a thorough investigation since the crime and some other related matters have been committed in the state.

The Suspects according to the Police Image maker were: Ogunremi Bunmi who is a son of a prominent chief in Ado-Ekiti, Ige Adu, Taiwo Fayoke the kidnappers food supplier, and a vulcanizer who is their informant that plies his trade at opposite of the Akinbami fuel station along Ureje area of Ado-Ekiti
