The Founder of Irorun Movement and Chairmanship Aspirant for Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Olalekan Tajudeen Ishola, has urged Politicians to desist from politics of dark ages and focus more on building self-integrity for political acceptance by Constituents and Stakeholders.
Ishola stated this while responding to a sponsored Facebook post made under a pseudo account, alleging he has a fraud case with the EFCC.
“My attention was brought to a distasteful allegation aimed at discrediting my growing political acceptance in Abeokuta North Local Government.
“Aside being a laughable development, it is important I reiterate, for record purpose, that never have I had contact or engagement with any official of the EFCC or any anti-graft or security agency in Nigeria and abroad.
“As a law abiding citizen with verifiable sources of income, I have privately and publicly promote the ideals of transparency and accountability, a vision that has obviously became a threat to Lowlifes.
“With a professional background as a Project Engineering Manager for several international organizations including Ford Motor Company (UK), OVIVO UK Limited, Mahle Industrial Filtration UK, and BUSCH LLC in USA, I was ceremoniously incorporated as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building in the United Kingdom and as a Member of the Association of Project Management Professionals, UK.
“I currently sits as a Director at YORLEK Consults UK Limited, and manages the affairs of YORLEK Nigeria Limited and TAJLEK Environmental Services,” he said.
Expressing his disappointment over the mannerism of present day politicking, Ishola challenged political actors to be constructive if ever there is a need to criticize. According to the global entrepreneur, it is unpatriotic to continue intimidate Nigerians in Diaspora from returning home to serve their fatherland.
“Regardless of this watery allegation, I remain confident in God and the goodwill of the entire constituents and stakeholders of Abeokuta North LG to remain their favorite for the forthcoming election.
“The commitment to return home to effectively serve my people spans almost a decade and cannot be deterred by a mere desperation of a self-centered group of Politicians with the ideologies of dark ages.
“I enjoined all political detractors to join hands with me to replicate the giant and enviable strides of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, to further develop Abeokuta North Local Government as I continue put to use my wealth of experience in global best practices,” he concluded.
