Eid-el-Fitri: Hon. Tajhdeen Olalekan Ishola Rejoices with Muslim Faithful

Founder of OLALEKAN ISHOLA FOUNDATION (Irorun Movement) and Chairmanship Aspirant in Abeokuta North Local Government, Hon. Tajhdeen Olalekan Ishola, has felicitated with the Muslim on the celebration of the Eid-el-Fitri, saying that though Ramadan fast is over, it is important that the lessons of the season are sustained and replicated in their daily lives for the good of society.

Ishola, fondly called TJ urges Muslim faithful to continue to display the virtues and the morals of Ramadan, by exuding love and an increasing awareness of Almighty Allah, especially in these challenging times occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement personally signed and made available to Newsacross.com from his media office in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, Tajudeen Ishola admonishes that the auspicious occasion of Eid celebration be used to intensify prayers for Ogun state, Nigeria and by extension, the World during this trying period.

In his words “We thank Almighty God for allowing our Muslim brothers and Sisters to complete 30 days mandatory fasting across the globe. We congratulate the Muslim ummah in Abẹokuta North Local Government, Ogun State and Nigeria.

“More importantly, We encourage our brothers and sisters to continue refrain from the bad deeds, and learn the good lessons brought by the Holy month of Ramadhan.

“Let us continue to abide by the directives of Ogun State Government on how to curb the spread of novel COVID-19 pandemic in our Society, so as to be protected.

“This 1441 A.H Eid El fitri is a special one, let us avoid assembly of congregational prayer for now, as Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic affairs (NSCIA) advised. It is only those on earth with good health who can celebrate the festival.

“We wish Muslim brothers and sisters especially in Abẹokuta North Local Government Happy Eid El fitri.  This festival will greatly bring happiness and joy to us (Amen) he said.
