The leadership of Ogun state Local government special advisers on Monday ,October 16, 2023, paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Secretary to the state government, Mr Tokunbo Talabi and Deputy Chief of staff to the governor, Hon. Toyin Taiwo at Ogun State governor’s office, Oke Mosan Abeokuta.
The group lauded Governor Abiodun for his commitment to good governance and efforts at ensuring the security of lives and property, as well as his unwavering political will to speedily develop the State.
The Names of the delegates are: Hon Abiodun Dasofunjo…(State cordinator) SA Abeokuta North, Alhaja Abiodun SALAKO (SA ABEOKUTA North, Hon Sunday Adebowale (SA Ifo local government, Hon Henry Akinlade(SA Ado odo ota, Hon Adeosun Talabi.(SA Ewekoro local government), Hon Oladapo Celestina (SA Yewa North), Hon Amoje Ahmed.(SA Odeda local government), Alhaja Fausat Adeyiga(SA Ikenne local government).
The group lauded the re appointment of Mr Tokunbo Talabi as SSG and Dr. Toyin Taiwo, deputy chief of staff to the governor.
They prayed for the appointees for the successful tenure In offices.
The group said that the governor had demonstrated good leadership role by his timely intervention in putting things in the right direction.
Also commended the Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal for its verdict on the March 18, governorship election in the State.
The group stated that the verdict was a victory for democracy and affirmation of the people’s choice.
The group noted that the tribunal delivered its verdict based on the facts and evidence presented before it, as well as the credibility of the electoral process.
It lauded the judiciary for its impartiality in the ongoing election petition-related cases across the country, adding that Nigerians have always reposed their confidence in that arm of government.
