DAPO ABIODUN : A Beacon of hope to Ogun state by Ahmed Fasasi

The incumbent Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun stated emphatically that he would complete the projects left behind by His predecessor, Ibikunle Amosun.

In the last few years, Ogun state has been experiencing crises, especially in the education sector.

I could recall how the non visible plan by the then Governor Ibikunle Amosun, to upgrade MAPOLY to MAUSTECH was born out of self interest, not considering the students currently in the school.

Due to the project, MAPOLY experienced undefined circumstances, talking of the indefinite strike which in turn affected the academic syllabus of the School.

Yet, the staff were not put into consideration as their salaries are yet to be paid.

I will like to reiterate that the government is continuum,His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, upon his emergence, provided us accurate information on all the ongoing projects in the state and the general state of affairs of our common patrimony.

His Excellency, Prince, Dapo Abiodun has proven to be a man of his word in a short time of his emergence.

He has given MAPOLY hope again.
He has assured the people of Ogun state of good governance.
He has tirelessly seen to the growth of Ogun state at large.

His commitment to his agenda within a short while of his emergence is applaudable.

Just when he emerged as the Governor, MAPOLY became balanced while he moved further to disclose that the academic activities that was put on hold should kick off while they see to the Ogun state polytechnic and MAUSTECH.

Several other projects that were left undone, like road infrastructures, school stability, amongst others, have been given assurance of quick and deliberate actions.

This is the swift response we anticipated and we are glad to see it unravel at the tenure of our present Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Indeed, Ogun state has gotten a Messiah!
