Christmas: Ogun LG Chairmanship Aspirant, Olalekan Sosanya distributes food items, cash to Ijebu North Indigents
The Chairmanship Aspirant of All Progressive Congress in Ijebu North local government area of Ogun State, Hon. Olalekan Sosanya purpularly known as GBAFUN has distributed food items and cash gifts to the people of the local government to celebrate Christmas.
Among items distributed were rice, garri, macaroni, spaghetti, assorted condiments, and cash.
Sosanya, , while distributing the items on Sunday, said that the gesture was borne out of his desire to improve the standard of living of the people of the local government during, and after, the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The former House of Assembly candidate said that the Bible preaches generosity, hence his continued determination to change the lives of the people at grassroots.
โI have decided to distribute these items to the people of my LG in the spirit of Christmas and New Year celebrations.
โThis gesture will go a long way in improving on the standard of living of the people at grassroots.
โI want them to celebrate Christmas and New Year with smiles on their faces and with joy,โ he said.
Sosanya urged the people to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ by living in unity, peace and be their brotherโs keepers at all time.
He congratulated Christians and other Nigerians in advance on the celebrations of the Christmas and New year.
The Chairmanship Aspirant assured the people of local government of quality and sound representation at the grass roots in the interest of development.
In an interview with News across Newspaper some of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Sosanya for the kind gesture and prayed God to replenished her pocket for remembering his people at the grassroots.
The people were seen singing, dancing and praising God who used Olalekan Sosanya GBAFUN as an instrument to put smiles on their faces.
