Breaking: Tinubu officially suspends 0.5% cybersecurity levy

President Bola Tinubu has suspended the contentious 0.5% cybersecurity fee on electronic banking transactions.

Tinubu issued the suspension order after Federal Executive Council (FEC) members deliberated, according to Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris.

Idris announced this at the State House in Abuja after the FEC meeting on Tuesday.
