Breaking: Ogun Police Launch Manhunt for Bisexual Man, Taiwo Egbekunle, Arrest Father

Sagamu, Ogun State – In a shocking turn of events, the Ogun State Police Command has launched a manhunt for Taiwo Egbekunle, a bisexual man wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation. The police have also arrested Taiwo’s father, Olusanya Egbekunle, in connection with the case.

According to sources, Taiwo was accused of engaging in a same-sex relationship during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) service in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state. A fellow corps member, Joseph Gbadebo (the son of the former commissioner of information and strategy in the Ogun State government), was also arrested after a photo surfaced showing them in a compromising position in their camp residence hall.

The incident has sparked widespread concern in the community, with many calling for calm and cooperation with the authorities. The police have assured the public that they are working tirelessly to resolve the matter and ensure that justice is served.

In a statement, the police urged anyone with information about Taiwo Egbekunle’s whereabouts to come forward. As the investigation continues, the police are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.

This development comes amid growing concerns about the treatment of LGBTQ+ individuals in Nigeria, where same-sex relationships are criminalised. Human rights advocates have called for the release of Mr Olusanya Egbekunle and Joseph Gbadebo, citing the need to protect the rights of all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation.

The Ogun State Police Command has not commented further on the matter, but the public is urged to remain calm and cooperate with the authorities as the investigation unfolds.
