Breaking: Again, rival cult groups clash, kill One in Abeokuta
One person has been reportedly killed on Tuesday in a cult clash in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
The victims, allegedly members of the Eiye confraternity groups were reported to have been shot dead in Bode Olude, Abeokuta, Ogun state, some alleged members of Aye went to eliminate their rival. However, the Eiye rival wasn’t there, so they brutally eliminated his friend Joyibo.
According to a source, “Joyibo was a very calm and innocent boy, who left his father’s house to come to live with his friend in that area said to be dominated by Ayes”
After Joyibo was eliminated, one member of the Ayes hit squad was caught by the community while they were fleeing the scene a police source says
DEATH OF A CULTIST:15th May, 2024 One Segun aka “Ojo Ibo was killed and his right wrist chopped off, at about 2130hrs of 14th May, 2024 after being chased by a rival cult at Bode Olude Junction. One Ishola Joseph a cultist was nabbed and beaten ,while trying to escape.
He was beaten and handed over to the police. 
Residents have long complained about the area’s danger, prompting many to leave their mansions for rented apartments in town for safety.
