Beaking: Police, Amotekun, hunters rescue Osun kidnap victim

The second person kidnapped on Sunday night by gunmen along Omoh/Erin-Ijesha road in Ori-Ade Local Government Area of Osun State has been rescued, The Nation has learnt.

The Nation reports two persons were kidnapped but the police in a joint operation with Amotekun and OPC rescued one of the victims on Sunday night.

Our correspondent gathered the other victim was rescued on Tuesday night after the Police, Amotekun and hunters combed the forest.

It was gathered the kidnappers ran away and left the hostage when they saw security operatives approaching them.

No arrest was made but the victim was rescued.

The spokesperson of Osun Police Command, Mrs. Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the rescue
