BREAKING: Toyin Taiwo Emerges as Consensus Candidate for Ipokia/Yewa South Federal Constituency

Dr. Emmanuel Toyin Taiwo has emerged as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Ipokia/Yewa South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, ahead of the party’s direct primary.


His candidacy was ratified by prominent leaders and elders of the Ogun West Senatorial District, including former Deputy Governor Alhaja Salimat Badru Makanjuola, at a high-level meeting of key stakeholders.
Until his emergence, Dr. Taiwo served as Chief of Staff to Governor Dapo Abiodun. Party leaders say his administrative experience and close ties with the state government will boost his capacity for effective representation at the National Assembly.
Dr. Taiwo hails from Ifoyintedo Ward in Ipokia Local Government Area and is described as deeply rooted in the challenges facing the constituency. The consensus arrangement is expected to be formally affirmed at the forthcoming direct primary, with constituents expressing confidence that his candidacy will deliver inclusive legislation and democratic dividends.
