Shun Protests, Obey Government Directives, ACOMORAN PRO tells Ogun Members

The Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners, Repairers and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), has urged its members to suspend the planned protest in Ogun state.

This was made known by the Public Relations Officer of the Association, Aremo Agunbiade during a meeting with some of the members.

He said, “Ogun state and the Nation is still recovering from the EndSARS protests that have ravaged the country and caused unrest admist violent attacks on government properties, causing the imposition of curfew on some states by the government.

In light of the foregoing, it will be dangerous to embark on another protest considering how the EndSARS protest was hijacked and used by hoodlums to destroy public property and loot palliatives meant for the vulnerable in the society.

I hereby urge all members of our Association to desist from embarking on a protest to allow the society recover from the many losses recorded as a result of the last protests.” Aremo added.

He assured members that the Association is working round the clock to ensure that thier demands are met, adding that the leadership of the Association is aware of the concerns raised by them.

While calling on members to exercise patience with the Association, Aremo called for calm and reiterated the commitment of the Association to give listening ears to the complaints of its members.
