“We are already engaging all stakeholders and this will continue. Everybody must be made to realise that they cannot take laws into their hands. We are speaking with Miyetti Allah Cattle breeders and the Sarkin of the Hausa/Fulani community and our brothers and sisters from Olokemeji and other ethnic groups that might have chosen to live and do businesses in our State. We are also talking with local hunters and other local security personnel too.
The local government will not tolerate any act of lawlessness by individual or group of person. And the governor has directed that appropriate steps should be taken to investigate and fish out the perpetrators who will be punished according to the law,” Hon Oludaisi Elemide was also present who urge the two sides to give peace a chance.
